Archiving Policy
The Journal of Applied Data Analysis and Modern Stochastic Modelling is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its scholarly content to ensure enduring availability for the academic community and the public.
To fulfill this commitment, the journal actively archives its publications in trusted repositories that support open access and robust digital preservation standards. Specifically, the journal’s content is deposited and preserved in:
Zenodo: An open digital repository operated by CERN, providing long-term preservation of research outputs with the assignment of persistent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs). Zenodo ensures that all published articles are securely archived with version control, bit-level preservation, and accessibility for the foreseeable future.
OpenAIRE: A European open science infrastructure that supports compliance with open access mandates and repository certification. The journal ensures that its content is discoverable, accessible, and preserved in accordance with OpenAIRE's guidelines, facilitating alignment with funder policies and ensuring long-term usability.
This dual archiving approach guarantees that all published articles in the journal are permanently available, citable, and accessible to researchers worldwide, regardless of changes in publisher or platform status.
Authors and readers can be confident that scholarly outputs are protected against loss and remain part of the global scholarly record.
Self-Archiving Policy
The Journal of Applied Data Analysis and Modern Stochastic Modelling supports the principle of open access and encourages authors to archive versions of their work in institutional, funder, or subject repositories of their choice.
Allowed Versions for Archiving:
Preprint version (submitted manuscript): Authors may deposit the version of the manuscript prior to peer review at any time, including on preprint servers or personal/institutional websites.
Accepted manuscript (post-peer review, pre-publication): Authors may archive the accepted peer-reviewed manuscript after an embargo period of 12 months from the date of publication. This version excludes the publisher’s formatting and typesetting.
Published version (Version of Record): Authors may share the final published version only on the journal platform or through official publisher channels unless explicitly permitted by the journal.
Conditions for Self-Archiving:
Archiving must include proper citation of the published article, including DOI, journal name, volume, issue, and page numbers.
A statement acknowledging the article’s publication in the Journal of Applied Data Analysis and Modern Stochastic Modelling with a link to the official published version must be included.
Authors should not violate any copyright or licensing terms with self-archiving.
Embargo Period:
A 12-month embargo period applies to the accepted manuscript before self-archiving is permitted, aligning with industry standards for scientific journals.
Where to Archive:
Authors may deposit their permitted manuscript versions in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, or funder-mandated archives such as OpenAIRE or Zenodo.
By submitting to the journal, authors agree to comply with this self-archiving policy, which enables wider dissemination while protecting intellectual property rights and journal integrity.
